I’ve decided for the A to Z blogging challenge to take a good hard look at my yarn stash and pattern queue. Thank You in advance to Ravelry! Likely this will surprise no one. In my work for my day job with Stitchcraft Marketing, I am constantly looking at patterns and yarn. Sometimes I am promoting new patterns by and for a particular client, sometimes I spot a project done in a clients yarn in a new-to-me pattern. I really enjoy it and it is a lot of fun to enable others and most often all those things end up on my queue as well.
I totally recognize that my yarn stash and pattern queue are both in amounts “beyond life expectancy” states! I think in my daily posts for the challenge I will spotlight a yarn and pattern for each letter of the alphabet. Will a yarn starting with “A” match up with a pattern starting with “A”? Anything is possible, but I’m not expecting that to happen with any sort of frequency. I do plan to continue the blog posts in my usual pattern – something on Mondays, Stitch Along Wednesdays or Yarn Alongs, and Freshly Finished Fridays.
Yay!! Patterns! This makes me excited, even though I don’t know how to knit yet. I’ll just look on, sparkly-eyed, from a distance. 😉

Maybe you’ll be inspired to learn how to knit! 🙂 Thanks so much!
My mom loves to knit, but I don’t know how. Your theme is perfect for knitters like her. 🙂

I tried knitting in elementary school but never made it far. As an adult, I’m teaching myself crochet (with the help of Youtube) and had a friend teach me tatting. Perhaps by the end of April I’ll be persuaded to try knitting again 🙂 Looking forward to A to Z!
Creative one! I am curious to find what;s in store.
Yarn! I love yarn 🙂 Sign me up!
