I’m pretty pleased that today’s project marks my completion of the Freshman Year of Loopy Academy! Both semesters are under my belt, and I really am looking forward to Camp Loopy starting on Monday! These are the BonBons fingerless mitts pattern by Susanna IC, and I used Spud & Chloe Fine in the Popcorn colorway. I think they will be perfect in the fall and winter when I’m at the computer. You might be curious about the title of this blog post? Well, I made mistakes as I knit these and I have decided to leave them in. Each time I look at them those mistakes may have well as been circled in red ink. The right mitt has one extra repeat of the slipped-stitches / mock cable design and the left mitt has a repeat of the slipped stitches / mock cable that go across the palm side. Oops.
I’m glad I stuck with this semester. I wasn’t 100% in love with the assignments, but they did push me a bit. That’s the point of school right, even a “yarny” one.
Even with your explanations, I still can’t find the mistakes. I only take out really problematic ones!
The point of school is definitely to push yourself, so I think you get full credit!
Call them design features! They look great to me!
