Last week, it was new socks, this week, I’ve got a new hat. Well, my daughter does. I knit the Selbu Modern for Sophmore Semester #2 of Loopy Academy. This meets the project requirements of using a variegated colorway and a solid colorway.
I think it looks really nice, though my lesson learned from this project is you need a really stretchy cast on. It’s a bit snug on my head (even after blocking on a plate), so my daughter can have it. The Solis colorway of Malabrigo Sock is one of my go-to favorites, with the perfect shades of blues and greens and a touch of teal here and there.
That hat has been on my list for ages. I really, really love the color you used. Thanks for the tip about the cast-on.
Gorgeous! Love those blues and greens.
It’s beautiful!!!
