Foxy Friday

Thanks to all who commiserated with me on my knitting errors I posted about on Wednesday. The hat is back on track, the sample knit grows, and that’s all there is. Last night I decided to work up a little fox mascot so I would have something to post today, for Freshly Finished Friday! You may have seen my Instagram post about how I was raiding my daughter’s Lego Friends for ideas on using them in a possible photo for this. In the end I thought the Legos didn’t work quite right (this is Cloud Cuckoo Land), and even the Playmobil Fairy Forest was better, but still not quite what I wanted.

  When in doubt, go back to what you know. I know dinosaurs.

I like this photo set a lot better. I may be a member of the Fleecy Foxes for the 2015 Yarnathon at EatSleepKnit, but will always hold a special spot in my heart for the Stitchosaurs. This dinosaur was a $2 purchase at a church tag sale – we bought it for my dino-loving son, thinking he would enjoy it and he does – but it has helped me to get some really fun photos of my projects! A little bit about the fox – he’s a MochiMochi Land design, one of the four 2015 Tiny Yarnathon mascots. I used scrap sock yarn leftover from doing hexipuffs, and I’m pretty happy with him.
