Today is a special day in this little nutshell, Jackson is 9! He has been a part of our lives forever it seems like – we brought him home only a few months after we moved in ourselves. He was here before the kids. There have been many ups and downs with him, a whole lot of barking, and a lot of snuggling. Here’s a #throwbackthursday shot of him the first week he was here:

His dapple faded a bit but is starting to return, my little old man. He’s had his senior panel at the vet, and though we’ve started to notice a few changes that make him seem older and less puppy like, he still thinks of himself as a Great Dane.
