Last fall I knit a Boston Whaler Hat and crocheted Henry’s Blanket as a baby shower gift for one of my cousins. This week I received this:
Oh the cuteness! I used Kraemer Yarns Perfection Worsted for both projects. It is a wool-acrylic blend, that is amazingly soft, easy to care for, and comes in so many colors. I used I loved crocheting the blanket. I wanted to keep it!
I chose Alligator, Elegant Grey, Peacock (which, BTW is the most amazing teal I’ve seen in a while!) and Fluff. I prefer to go with bolder colors over pastels for babies. They can totally handle it.
I used the leftovers to knit the hat, with one modification to add one repeat of the whale motif. Super fun set!
