Most of my knitting is currently under wraps. The baby gifts are coming along nicely, I finished a hat, and I did work in a few more rows on Dan’s Socks. I also decided on my next projects for the second semester of Loopy Academy Freshman Year. I’ll post more on that either when the yarn arrives or I actually start on the projects. When I first read about the assignments I was a bit underwhelmed: Stripes (without self-striping yarn), Felting / Fulling (ugh, my washer doesn’t do a great job on this), and Slipped Stitches. I remember semesters in undergraduate / graduate life where there were classes I wasn’t thrilled about but I made the best out of them, so in that spirit I put in a bit more time on Ravelry and figured out a plan. Anyway, back to this week! I have also been swatching for my next sample knitting project and I’m hoping to cast on tonight. I’ve read the first third of Lucky Us and I am enjoying it so far. We’re keeping a watch on a bit more snow headed this way Sunday-Monday, so I might have to duck into the library tomorrow or Friday to be sure I have my next book ready!
So I’ve got my swatches and Loopy Academy planning done and then today I spotted this: Blogging A to Z Challenge 2015. The idea is to post every day in April (except Sundays), one post for each letter of the alphabet. I think it could be a lot of fun and maybe a change of pace.
Loved that book!
