You’ve probably seen and heard the jokes online about the cold and snow here in New England. They are all true. It’s cold, we’re still surrounded by snow and ice and it just keeps coming without much of a break in between. During the first blizzard, way back in January, I started working on a Sally the Snowflake. My daughter helped me to shovel a good portion of the driveway, so I told her she could have the snowflake when it was finished. Fast forward to last weekend, when it was snowing for the 4th weekend in a row, I finally finished it! The actual crocheting of each side didn’t take too long, but the seaming the pieces together took a good part of the afternoon. It is hard to tell in these photos, but the yarn (Plymouth Holiday Lights) has a bit of sparkle in it. As always, the Fresh Stitches pattern is very well written and the end result is adorable!
A better image to give you an idea of the scale. The cold barely bothers this kid. Have a creative weekend, stay warm!
I love Sally amd your DD is the cutest! thanks for sharing!
Funny! I’ll have some of that snow – it is going to be boiling hot here today! Sally the Snowflake is adorable. I didn’t realise she was going to be so big. Maybe I could knit some to make a snow mobile to hang up for winter – hmmm?
Can I say how very happy I am that it’s on the east coast and not the lower midwest where we are!!! We are getting more snow, but with barely over 8″ total I am happy to get just a bit more, but that’s it! Love the snowflake. I am very impressed you actually finished the thing instead of throwing it out. Who would have to be reminded of the snow? LOL
Sally is adorable, adding her to my list of projects!
Super cute!!! I want to learn how to knit. T.T

Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you?
