~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?~ from small things
Just before I left for the weekend, I finished knitting Gemini, but did not weave in the ends. They are all tucked away now and I hope to get it photographed soon! For my travel knitting I took Wingspan (aka My Wings of Hope) and I love it so much, even with the more muted colors. I would make this again and again and have 2 or 3 yarns in mind already that I think would be awesome in that pattern.
I finished reading Room – it was very very good. I came home from my trip to a birthday present from my favorite brother-in-law – knitting books! Teeny-Tiny Mochiland, Knitter’s Book of Yarn, and The Fleece and Fiber Source Book. I have had my eye on each for a long while now, good resources and patterns (Mochiland & KBY). I am not sure what I will read next. As much as I love reading the knitting books, I find that I am more likely to pick them up here and there and not really settle in to read them, you know?
All the wingspans I've seen are so pretty…Room is on my list to get from Audible.
I have been wanting to start a wingspan, having seen so many out.I am working on a Christmas Fairy for Friday. I hope to have it done by then so I can share the pattern. Key words "Hope TO"With All That I AmCarrie "The Handmade Homemaker"
