Happy Friday! I’m so glad that I can finally share a few projects. Life has been a bit hectic lately and today my brain is just mush. So I am going to jump in with sharing my projects!
I have seriously been bitten by the crochet bug and I love it. I wanted to make this mobile before my son was born, but I wasn’t ready for it then. Now is a different story – I’m getting good! This was a gift for my niece who will be arriving in August.
I also made two rattles for my niece. Her grandmother is an amazing (and prolific) knitter and has sweaters and dresses already filling the closet ready to be worn. I’m going to focus on toys (and maybe a few accessories) for the little one for now. They are fun to make and relatively quick too. There are just so many things I want to make and not enough time. I’ve finished one deadline knitting project, a sample that is headed to TNNA. The second deadline knitting project should be out the door Monday for TNNA, and while I’ve enjoyed working on them, I’m ready for a break. Selfish knitting here I come!
So cute and fun!!!
Thanks!
I didn’t realize you had moved your blog so I just found this — ahhh! Official thank you note is coming but I cannot even tell you how much we LOVE the mobile and rattles. So sweet!!! I am glad they were fun to make, I know the Smuppet will be obsessed.
🙂 I’m glad you love them – that’s the first step.
