AtoZ Challenge B

Yarn: Be Sweet T-Shirt – this is made from remnant t-shirts. I love the pops of color in this. This was purely an impulse purchase! 55 yards of a bulky weight means it has stayed in the stash for a while because I didn’t know what to do with it. I did grab the free pattern flyer that was with it for a crochet candy basket. Now that I am more confident in my crochet skills I think it’s a do-able project and would be cute for treats this spring and summer.

Pattern: I really love to make baby patterns, and there are plenty of baby hats and blankets and items in my queue. I’m going with a few different choices today – I think it would be so very cool to make the Bioshock Big Daddy figure (currently #791 in my queue). It’s one of those video game series that I enjoyed watching someone play – the styling details are fabulous. One of these days I’m also going to make a Brickless shawl(#897 in my queue), like every other knitter. I have designated Miss Babs yarn for that too, a 2013 Rhinebeck purchase. BTW, did you catch their exclusive new colorway offered on April 1? 😉  In the immediate future the BonBons pattern (#1 on my queue) should be hopping on to a set of needles, as that is a project I have chosen for Loopy Academy Semester 2 of Freshman Year. The yarn is even already in a cake, I just have to finish a few other projects first.
