Yarn: This is the Thistle colorway of Miss Priss from Schaefer Yarn Company. I started sample and test knitting just over six years ago, and my first projects were for Schaefer (Laurel Tunic, Baby Bolero, Chill Chaser). I was paid for my knitting time in yarn which did wonders for my stash! I tried to knit this yarn into a sweater a few years ago and it was pretty cute, but had some trouble with the shoulders. I was unable to figure out on my own how to make it better, so I ripped out the whole thing. I still love this yarn and still plan to use it. As it is already balled up might give it an edge in being chosen for a new sweater project.
Pattern: I keep coming back to the Talamh pattern by Carol Feller. I think sweater looks like a great layering piece, and I would love to try the called for yarn, Blue Moon Fiber Arts BFL Sport – I would only need two skeins to make this sweater!
