Yarn: Almost unbelievably, I do not have any X yarn in my stash – not for a company, not for a colorway. I will be popping in to my LYS, Madison Wool, this morning to look for buttons. I will be looking for an X yarn – because now I feel like there is something missing from my stash!
Pattern: I really like the look of the Xenocryst Hat, and I know I have the called for yarn (Cascade 220 Heathers) somewhere in deep stash, leftover from my Central Park Hoodie. I worry a bit that it won’t fit my ginormous head or mane of hair, but I think it would still be worth a go to try a new cast on and those braids.
That is a nice toboggan style hat!

You and I are the opposite, I’m always having a problem getting a hat small enough for my pin head. LOL, when hats fit me, I figure there’ll fit more kids/teens. Love the details in the hat. And right you, one should not have something missing in their stash.
