I really didn't want to miss out on posting today, but real life has to take priority. It's all good, but time is short. I'm busy with trying to finish up a sample knit so it can be mailed out ASAP, and then this: One of my least favorite parts of parenting.

Snow Tired
You've probably seen and heard the jokes online about the cold and snow here in New England. They are all true. It's cold, we're still surrounded by snow and ice and it just keeps coming without much of a break in between. During the first blizzard, way back in January, I started working on a… Continue reading Snow Tired
Candy Crush
We're starting to see the other side of everyone being sick and cooped up with cabin fever. The sun is shining today, the ice is starting to slide off the roof (much to Jackson's delight), and even my books and yarn are bright and cheery. I finished Eleanor & Park and really enjoyed it. I… Continue reading Candy Crush
Bring on the Coffee
My routine has been in flux for the last week. While I am not overly particular about much, I crave the structure and routine that is established with the kids being in school. As I have posted about before, my niece is a CCHD kid - thankfully she is doing quite well, but it has been quite… Continue reading CHD Awareness
Fresh FO My Moonshine Molly
Another week, another hat! I actually finished this hat last week and wove in the ends over the weekend. This week the weather has been snowy and cold, giving me ample opportunity to work this hat into the handknit rotation (along with a good number of other handknits as documented on Instagram!). I used the… Continue reading Fresh FO My Moonshine Molly
Planning Ahead
Most of my knitting is currently under wraps. The baby gifts are coming along nicely, I finished a hat, and I did work in a few more rows on Dan's Socks. I also decided on my next projects for the second semester of Loopy Academy Freshman Year. I'll post more on that either when the… Continue reading Planning Ahead
Curtis Skirt Winner
Thank you to everyone who stopped by last week for my stop on the From Folly Cove Blog Tour! I hope you all get a chance to pick it up and knit something fabulous from it! The post has 11 comments, one of which was my reply, so I ran the Random Number Generator to… Continue reading Curtis Skirt Winner
