Deja Vu

Hey, surprise! This post is not about socks! I’ll save that for the next post.

I happened to catch an announcement post from the Eat.Sleep.Knit team that they were going to host a Song of the Sea Flash-knit-along. I have the yarn in my stash and the pattern in my library so I’m diving in.

Deja Vu – part 1

I’ve actually tried to knit this pattern before. Way back, this was a project I thought would be fun to work on when Hurricane Sandy blew through, but it didn’t get much farther than the cast on. It’s a do-over! This time I’m using Malabrigo Sock in Solis. I’m eleven rows in, so it’s not looking like much right now. I am loving the blues and greens in the yarn, and the pop of color from my green needles (Marblz).

Deja Vu – part 2

We had a wet and windy nor’easter in my area last weekend and are expecting another nor’easter on Wednesday. Fingers crossed the power stays on. I do love winter, but I’m ready for spring.
