It’s that time of year again – Rhinebeck weekend! This is a great festival and I look forward to it every year. I made a sweater during Camp Loopy that I thought I would wear to Rhinebeck, though the weather is looking warmer and my 2014 Rhinebeck Hat would clash with it. How crazy do I want to look? Seriously, this is A. Hat.
It echos those Greek and Roman hats and also makes me feel a bit like a yarn pony. Certainly it will look better in a group right? That’s the main point of the hat. My SnB group makes a crazy hat each year and in turn that makes it easier to find each other in the crowds at the show. We’ve made hats with tassles, hats with sparkles, and hats with “fiddlehead” doo-dahs. This year though I don’t know what to think. It’s a crazy hat.
