Halloween Listicles

This candy corn buddy I made for my niece and of course I didn’t get any photos of her with it! The pattern was easy and it worked up quick. Click here for the pattern; it is on the RepeatCrafterMe website, not yet on Ravelry.
I haven’t done a list in a while! Halloween is as good of a reason as any!

10 Things I Love About Halloween:

1. Homemade Halloween Costumes – I can remember one year (kindergarten?) I had a store bought costume, one of Strawberry Shortcake’s friends. Plastic cape & plastic mask sort of deal. All my other costumes were made of stuff from my parents closets or recycled materials: I was a witch, a hobo, a Christmas present, a Crayon, cat, bumblebee, fairly common stuff.
2. Babies/Kids in Costumes
3. Animals in Costumes
4. Candy – October is the beginning of Candy season, that runs from now until Easter.
5. The Worst Witch movie – I watched this so many times as a kid. I have the DVD and watched it with my daughter this weekend. It’s very cheesy to watch now, but she was spooked (in a fun way) at a few parts and I think she liked it.
6. The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
7. Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
8. I love that Halloween is on a Friday this year, so we can have a lazy Saturday morning to recover from the Halloween Hangover
9. Mike & Ikes
10. The general silliness and fun (not super spooky or gory). Like this:
