Hello Summer! Two things have always marked the beginning of summer for me: the end of the school year and my birthday. Both happened at the end of last week, and here we are – summer has finally arrived after a very long winter and a very delayed spring. We’re once again adjusting to new routines – I’ve got one kid booked in camp and the other kid I’m trying to keep occupied and happy (usually that just involves food and some dinosaur shows) while trying to get my own stuff done. Judging by the photo above, this is very much an ongoing practice. Have you tried writing a blog post while a little one wants you to wear a “hat”?
Hooray for good mail days! Lamby Toes is a new shop that just opened up last week – this skein is gorgeous, “Mushrooms and Rainbows”. Amanda has a lovely color sense and I’m looking forward to more of her work. Also in the mailbox today was my Wild Rumpus kit from Little Skein. I am very excited to make a Wild Thing!
Us Leos are a ‘creative’ bunch and I see that the Tater is very much a Leo. I once stuck cotton balls to the wall in the hallway with Vaseline and told my mom that they were ‘bunny tails’.
I wish you the best of luck this summer!
The top picture made me laugh! I remember those days.
Thank you for the mention! I can not wait to see what you make from that skein. (I was tempted to keep them all for myself. 😀 )
