I couldn’t decide which way to go with this photo. It’s either a “Who Wore It Better” shot or the beginning a joke – a duck and a brachiosaurus are wearing similar sweaters…. These are the beginnings of the next sample knit. No surprise I’m totally sold on the two-at-a-time method. I am not a hyper-organized nor particularly particular and am willing to overlook a great number of things (clutter, disorganization, etc) but I’m finding it drives me crazy if I make two things and they are not the same length! These are actually fingerless mitts that I am sample knitting for Plymouth Yarn Co.
I’m still working my way through Jodi Picoult’s Picture Perfect. After this, I’m taking a hiatus from her for a while. While I appreciate the way in which she tackles heavy topics and real life issues, I’m just not feeling it in this story. Oh well, it happens. Notice that there is also a dishwasher user manual in there. I’ve been reading up on dishwashers as ours is showing its age and wear and tear and the time has come for a new one. Nate’s blanket continues to grow. I am in the last 20 rows! And if you haven’t had the chance please read the article about my niece!
I really need to learn how to two at a time for that exact reason!!
We bought a KitchenAid dishwasher about five years ago when we re-did our kitchen. I love it.
We’ve decided on an electrolux – seems fancy (they all do!). I’m pretty sure this is the start of a thread of appliance replacing!
I have many projects always on the go – which is proving a bit difficult right now as I am waiting for one project to finish so I can use my circular needles! Also I currently have a giveaway on my blog, if you fancy knitting a shawl next! (http://made-inhome.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/settler-shawl-finish-and-giveaway.html)..
