Hello March! It came in like a lion that’s for sure – there’s another 5 inches of snow outside this morning! Yesterday I did a bit of knitting in public while I was at my daughter’s Irish Dance recital. An afternoon of jigs, reels, hornpipe and hard-shoe stomping makes you want to get moving.
My internet radio is now queued up with Flogging Molly, Black 47, and Dropkick Murphys. That should help me tackle the week right? Even powering through the cold my lovely children have given to me. March is when the color starts to return to New England. I’m ready for the peeks of green through the snow (maybe next week), and knitting on this sample Sproutlette Dress for MarigoldJen in a merino/silk blend helps too. There is a lot of depth in this “Orange Crush” colorway. Have you seen the hashtag on Instagram, #killwinterwithorange? So clever!
This was just cute and silly!
kill winter with orange is brilliant and the little sheep jig was perfect to lift my spirits on this dreary day 🙂
