NaKniSweMo is National Knit a Sweater Month. Way back when, Shannon Oakey, Knitgrrl, was inspired by NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) where aspiring writers are challenged to write a novel at least 50,000 words in length. Can I knit a sweater with at least 50,000 stitches in November?
Maybe.
I’m thinking about it. I would love to have another sweater in my wardrobe before winter arrives.
I might be a bit crazy though as the sweater I keep coming back to is Cloud Stripe Sweater in Celleach Dyes Lace. That’s right, a lace-weight pullover sweater. I’ve had this gorgeous laceweight yarn in my stash for a dozen years. That’s long enough in the stash!
