Finished object Friday! I finished up the “Nice to Gnome You” mystery knit along this week. I think my gnome is more of a beachy-one, hiding in the dunes, and checking out the shells.
I struggle with putting colors together, so I took the easy route and used a mini-skein bundle. I won this set on Instagram from Two Sisters Yarn Company ages ago. Together in the gnome they give a great sun-weathered vibe, sandy with bits of gold, and lots of shades of blue.
This is my second gnome pattern from Sarah Schira and I would make more! Her patterns are clear and she included video links to clarify trickier bits. This mystery KAL had clues every few days and it was totally manageable. The yarn was held double, so this gnome is quite a bit bigger than my solo gnome; the big one is 9.5″ tall.
I still have 51g leftover from the mini set! The leftovers have already been diverted to an project in the planning stages, so they will not remain as leftovers for too long.
