For FO Friday I have two things to share. I finished the SCREAMING NEON tube socks for kids. Unfortunately, they are a bust. They don’t fit my 6 year old’s feet, too snug. Oh well. It’s my fault, I didn’t bother to swatch, I just cast on and knit away. We have friends visiting us this weekend and I’m wondering if their 3 year old daughter would like them.
I also made a thneed. I started with a cotton / linen blend, and originally cast on for a washcloth. As I worked along with the crochet hook, it became apparent that this was a very rectangular washcloth. I thought it might work well as a soap pocket / bath mitt thing, and so I stitched up the sides as I got to the end of the yarn. However, I think I may have found the what this FO really wants to be….
