Stitch Fix #4

Totally a non-knitting post today. Also, there are affiliate links if you’re interested in trying Stitch Fix out.

I recently received a Stitch Fix in the mail last week and wanted to share it here. If you haven’t tried Stitch Fix it is a pretty cool system in my opinion. You fill out a style profile and maybe link to a Pinterest board if you have one of styles and outfits that you like. When you schedule a “fix”, there is a $20 styling fee and you can leave feedback about what you are looking for. When your box arrives, you can try on the items that were pulled for you and see styling ideas for the pieces. I will admit to not having much style sense and I do not love shopping for clothes. This solves my problem! Trendier, updated clothes come to me! If you decide to purchase something from your Stitch Fix, the $20 fee goes toward the purchase price. Also included is a return envelope with prepaid postage, so returns are super easy.

When I scheduled this Stitch Fix, I indicated that I was looking for tops to go with a pair of leggings I had picked up. This shipment included a necklace, pair of jeans, and three tops. I was excited for the jeans, as my current favorite pair was stained by the grease from a delicious fried dough at the fair. Unfortunately, the jeans didn’t go past my hips, so that was a bust, and I’ll didn’t bother to take a photo. I thought the first tip (navy with white pattern) was cute and mostly I liked it on, though again, darn hips, is was too snug – Returned. The colorblocked top was very comfy, but the arms were too long and I don’t know how you could possibly keep it wrinkle-free – Returned. I really liked the tank but I’m not looking for tank tops now that it is fall – Returned. The necklace was interesting, and while I don’t really have any statement pieces, I’m not going to wear anything like that, it’s not really my style – Returned. I left my feedback on each of the items hopefully the next box will be a winner. So, yeah, this box was a bit of a bust, but it is fun to get the wardrobe surprises in the mail and I will be signing up for future Stitch Fixes!
