After three nor’easters in two weeks (and rumors of another storm to keep an eye on next week) my love of winter is flailing. The middle storm of the three was the worst for me. Power was knocked out for several days and an uprooted tree sat on the wires for a few days longer. I’m ready for mud and sunshine and the return of spring.
Song of the Sea Cowl
Thank goodness for knitting. I whipped up a cowl when the power was out. This is the Song of the Sea and was for a flash-knit-along with Eat.Sleep.Knit. It is long enough to twist and wear doubled around my neck. Malabrigo Sock is so cozy and the Solis colorway is one of my favorite bluesy-greens.
Laceweight Bonny
Hoping that a spring project will bring on the proper weather, I’ve been working on Bonny. This is also a knit-along for Eat.Sleep.Knit, where this quarter the project theme is anything by Tin Can Knits. I’m using Madelinetosh Prairie in Nassau. I’ve just cast off the front and expect the back to zip along quite quickly as it is only stockinette.
