While I wait for news of the next event cancellation, I am knitting away. An even better distraction is to know that something you made and mailed has arrived and it fits!
I knit a Clementine for my new niece. This is a 3-6 month size in CoBaSi yarn, a blend of cotton, bamboo, and nylon. The variegated colorway is so great with the shades of purple, blue, and green. I really enjoyed knitting this and would make it again. That little pocket is a sweet detail; I’m all for impractical pockets on baby items. Of course this FO is adorable, but it’s even cuter on!
My niece is 5 months old, so I was a bit nervous that this would arrive and be too short, but all looks good for a wear or two. I’m really happy it got to her before her next growth spurt!
