Color Infusion Cowl

Before I get in too deep with looking back on what I did this year and what I want to do next year, I am realizing there are a few projects that were unintentionally overlooked. One of those is the Color Infusion Cowl

Project details & modifications

The original Color Infusion Cowl by Meredith Shepherd calls for fingering weight. I worked on this for a flash-knit-along with EatSleepKnit and had a few concerns I wouldn’t be able to finish in time. From my stash, I pulled out Manos del Uruguay Maxima in Prince (purple), Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage in Cosmic Wonder Dust (speckled), Three Irish Girls Springvale Worsted in When Doves Cry (grey), and Malabrigo Worsted in Black. I maintained fairly even tension and consistency with the color changes. Look at the inside!

I did a quick steam block to even out the stitches, what a fun little trick that is. The result is a thick, squishy, cozy, massive neck cuff. I do love it, but it’s yet to be worn, except around the house.

One more with Lincoln, he’s got a great neck!
