I was so excited to finish my Solitude Dots Hat last Friday night. I immediately put it on and wore it all weekend. The kit I purchased at Rhinebeck did indeed provide plenty of yarn allowing for a pompom with the leftovers if you wanted. I’m still considering it, but I don’t feel like this hat is missing anything. This hat is super warm. Several times over the last few weeks we’ve spotted wild turkeys scurrying through the backyard. Not unusual. There is also a local turkey farm that has wildly colorful turkeys out in front of their farm this time of year. The turkeys in the photo are not photoshopped in any way, they really are day-glo colors. We took the kids to visit the turkeys and I took the opportunity for a fun FO Friday photo op!
