Major Teal Spring Garden Tee

Camp Loopy, Project #2 is done! This month, the task was to knit something that you spied in “the wild”. I have seen the Spring Garden Tee pop up on many Ravelry queues and watched a KAL from afar. Now I have my own. I’m mostly happy with it – these photos are all pre-any-washing or blocking. I fully intend to toss this top into the washer and dryer, as I did with my swatch. I am a bit concerned with the way the neck and the bottom hem fold back, but I think after washing it will settle itself out. I am considering adding a skinny ribbon too to sort of stabilize it.

This was my first project with Cascade Ultra Pima and I loved it. This cotton was dreamy to work with, didn’t hurt my hands, washed well, has a slight shine to it, and best of all I am super impressed with the color. Major Teal is the most amazing shade of blue-teal, my favorite hue of teal. I expect I will wear this with some frequency.

Project #3 starts tomorrow, I have to wind my yarn! Have a great weekend!
