Yarn: Hollywood Cerise, on the Mrs. Crosby Satchel base is an usual colorway for me (I stick to the blues), but there is something about this magenta colorway that I could not stop thinking about. This yarn was stashed during the 2014 eat.sleep.knit Yarnathon. It seems right to show it with the mascot I made when I was a member of the Stitchosaur Team! I am hoping to use this yarn for a KAL during this year’s yarnathon to make a Hitofude.
Pattern: Given the other theme that has been presenting itself as I have been working on these posts (yarn and dinosaurs) I feel I have to use Hektor the Tyrannosaurus by Maria Strom-Bestor for the H pattern! I know my son would love for me to make him a Hektor and the other dinosaur friends. I’m on the lookout for a Nodosaurus pattern, BTW, if you happen to see one.
